Toronto police said Gidid Mohamed, 27, was pronounced dead after a shooting Tuesday morning in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area. Another person was injured.
One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area, according to Toronto police.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Toronto police officers responded to calls about a shooting in the area. One person was found unresponsive outside a social club and taken to a trauma centre, where they were pronounced dead, police said.
The victim has been identified as Gidid Mohamed, 27, of Toronto.
Another person, a 37-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Information on suspects has not been released.
